Quasimorph updates after the July 31, 2026 1.0 launch from Magnum Scriptum / HypeTrain Digital (Steam App 2059170) land here first. This hub summarizes verified Steam news — not datamined leaks — so mercenaries can see what Patch 1.0.2 (August 14, 2026) and 1.0.1 changed before the next Magnum contract. Verified August 16, 2026.

What changed in Patch 1.0.2?
Patch 1.0.2 (August 14, 2026) is the second post-1.0 quality-of-life pass — Inventory Sorting, AI Improvements & QoL. It does not rewrite storylines; it sorts the Magnum bag, tightens AI, moves augment drops, and marks the Descent portal.
If 1.0.1 made the bag readable, 1.0.2 makes it sortable. New Magnums also ship a slightly fuller starter kit — still follow the beginner guide Training Center loop before story contracts.
Implants and AnCom chips
Augment chips spawn in containers at the same rate instead of odd world piles. AnCom at Technology 6 can now pay in augment chips. Poison-route clones should re-read Steps of Grigenchosach and Plague of Balar on the implants guide.
Travel Tech preview
Before a long hop, the destination panel now estimates Technology growth for every faction. Use it when you are idling a RealWare or AnCom timer instead of spraying one point across twelve corps.

Patch 1.0.1 is the first major post-1.0 quality-of-life and balance pass. It does not rewrite storylines; it cleans inventory, mission prep, trading clarity, implant monitoring, and enemy AI so Magnum runs feel less fiddly.

Item management overhaul — clearer stacking and handling
If 1.0 launch felt cluttered when packing clones, re-open the Magnum loadout screen after 1.0.1 — tooltips now spell out mission difficulty and station context more explicitly. New players should still follow the beginner guide Training Center loop before story contracts.
Implants on the HUD
Active implants no longer force a deep menu dive mid-fight. Confirm which implants are live before you commit AP on the first contact turn — full implant roles stay on the implants guide.
AI and combat habits
Expect enemies to punish bad positioning more consistently. Cover, stance, and wound triage on the combat guide still apply — 1.0.1 does not invent new AP rules, it makes enemies use existing ones better.
Trading clarity
Faction and station trade screens now surface acceptable goods up front. Cross-check Power / Tech contract expectations on the factions guide before hauling junk that a station will refuse.
Do I need a new save after 1.0?
Default Early Access saves are not compatible with 1.0. Only Unstable Beta saves carried forward at launch. Patch 1.0.1 does not restore wiped EA campaigns — start (or continue) a 1.0-era Magnum if you never migrated.

Patch 1.0.2 (August 14, 2026) — inventory sorting, AI, implant container spawns, Descent portal on the minimap, travel Tech preview. 1.0.1 still covers HUD implants and trade tooltips. See the tables above and Steam news.
Is Quasimorph out of Early Access?
Yes — 1.0 launched July 31, 2026. Hotfixes continue through Q3; a larger post-launch update is planned later in 2026.
Does Patch 1.0.2 change endings or class unlocks?
No storyline rewrite. Telegraph / Nanauatzin's Fire got bugfixes. Class chips, factions, and the nine endings checklist on all endings remain the campaign backbone.
Where should I report a 1.0.2 bug?
Official https://discord.gg/hb5QdAA4yN bug channels or Steam discussions — include build number and whether the issue is inventory, AI, or HUD.
Should I restart my campaign for 1.0.2?
Not required. Restart only if you are still stuck on a wiped EA save or want a clean Magnum after the inventory UI change.
